A Family Business, Then And Now

Joe and Mary Capps founded the company in Wheeling in 1996. It began as a small residential plumbing and sewer operation serving homes in the surrounding suburbs, and that work is still the core of the business.

Today, the next generation continues the family legacy, with Deanna, Joey, Dan, and Nick all serving as Vice Presidents in the business. The operating approach has not changed with them.

The phone number is the same one from the start, and Capps still answers it from Wheeling, where the company has been for thirty years. No dispatching service, no call center.

Thirty years of the same business

Joe and Mary Capps started Capps Plumbing & Sewer in 1996 with a commitment to doing good work and taking care of their customers. Thirty years later, their four kids are part of the business, the team has grown, and the company has grown with it, but Capps is still family-owned, independent, and rooted right here in the community where it started.
